  • @NarcolepticDogstar Another reason people find it hard to speak out is because no one has a goddamn attention span anymore. It takes serious time and space to communicate anything of substance, anything that can seriously challenge the pervasive propaganda being peddled by the corporate-government cluster fuck. Take 500-character limits on these comments, for example. As Aldous Huxley wrote at the very beginning of Brave New World Revisited, "brevity can be the very body of untruth." End rant.

  • I am Norwegian. I bought my hand-woven merino-wool sweater at 250 USD for Christmas. This sweater will probably last me the rest of my life if I treat it right. Wool is amazing, it breathes better than cotton and it does something cotton cannot....it transports moisture away from your skin and isolates much better during winter. Wool is also very robust. Love it!

However, I do agree that there's one fabric that can change our civilization, and that fabric is Hemp. Look it up.

  • We need mutualism.

  • I agree completely. Thinking that somehow this is the worst civilization ever requires a breathtaking kind of ignorance of history and civilization that should make anyone with any aspirations of intellectualism weep with shame to utter. This is actually the best time to be a human being living on Earth ever, and the future will only be better still, if we can only learn to be smart animals who do not foul their own nest fast enough.

  • I don't understand what cotton has to do with capitalism. Are you inferring that socialists or communists or fascists didn't wear cotton??

  • We all need the truth, the philosophical answer to our destiny, we can start our path from there on- without truth we will chase ghosts of meaningless life styles. No meaning equals oblivion to all humanity and will lead to a competitive society of selfish animals.

We don't know right from wrong, how are we suposed to create a good system of governance, who is to judge war, power struggles: its the law of the jungle. Wake up people, we need to know reality and answer to it in conjunction.

  • @outlaw87100 yeh germs spred and make sick and kill from uncleanliness, and poor hygiene

  • @Zephyesa wrong.. germs in clothes and pathetic medicines were the greatest contributors to death.. disease and war my friend.

  • We don't need a revision on Capitalism.

We need a revision on human needs and human perception.

Everything else will just come naturally.

  • actually poor people not living as long had nothing to do with unwashed clothes, it was the invention of soap which made the average person cleaner, they spread less contagious germs to each other then they live longer, also alot of poor people were simply worked into an early grave with backbreaking labour.

  • @konopelli Oh yes, we human beings have created nothing other than t-shirts.
