What an articulate and passionate explanation of the decision by Friends of the Earth Action to endorse Edwards. Global warming is an absolutely crucial issue, and Edwards - as on so many other vital issues - is the candidate with the best conceived plan of action. And he's honest that it's going to take sacrifice on our parts to make a difference. Yay, FOE!!! Can't wait to see the energy FOE volunteers will bring to the NH campaign!

Yeah this is the key here. Blackwelder pretty much glosses over the specific policies issues and then opens it up to an indictment of the other campaigns and praise for the character of the Edwards campaign. But the AP story said, "No on Nukes equals yes on Edwards." They missed the whole point. Check out the second clip with Edwards. At the end he asks: "Any questions?" ... sound of birds chirping.

John Edwards IS the singular candidate that can be TRUSTED to do what he says he'll do.
Global Warming and Environmental desecration on a world scale is the pre-eminent problem of our time and John Edwards is the action man to solve it. To ignore GW will only lead to more WAR! J R

It is a huge and vital issue. The bad news is that we haven't been able to address it effectively in a political forum. The good news is that people now understand what going on in and the will to sacrifice and improve things is now present in the people. I think it was a good choice by FoE.
