Fallout 3 - Game of the Year edition on Steam using mods.

NMC High Resolution Textures (FULL)
FOOK2
Enhanced Weather
Depth of Field
Fellout
GNR - More Where that Came From

are the primary mods i'm using in this recording. Yes, i'm using an Xbox 360 controller, get over yourselves. This would be my 2nd playthrough of Fallout 3 so I made it interesting by using mods that didn't exist when I played it, along with the DLC, and of course the artificial difficulty a gamepad adds.

  • 360 controller on a pc game.

    You should be ashamed.

  • @iDesuFX

    It's too easy with M+K :)

  • @LOLitsJono You shouldn't have to defend yourself against this kind of bullshit. It's a single player game whose UI and mechanics work flawlessly with a controller. Play however you want.

Anyhow, great video! Would you recommend any mods to install for the first playthrough, or should my first experience be vanilla? If you do have recommendations, are there any that you're aware of which don't interfere with GFWL?

  • @jizzmatic2000

Thanks! All the mods would interfere with GFWL. I would say, if you're a purist and don't want 3rd party weapons added, then just install GFWL disabler, NMC high res textures, fellout, and DoF. The only thing that would change anything of the game would be fellout because normal Fallout 3 has a greenish tint to the color of the world. Fellout makes it clear and more realistic. Aside from that, it is as vanilla (but improved) as you can get while getting an awesome experience.
