21 August 2002 and the very first Atlas 5 launches from Cape Canaveral carrying Hotbird 6 into orbit. This launch carried some incredible on board footage. The last few seconds of the countdown, lift off and the climbout then some beautiful footage of the Earth passing underneath the rocket
BEST LOOKING LAUNCH EVER

Cape Canaveral, United States Of America, Not to be confused with Paris, France or London, England, Dallas - Scotland or MosCOW (which never gets a country identification.)

Junk is difficult to dispose, so they track it. For bigger satellites or spacecraft, they have a designated "junk" orbit into which these vehicles are placed just before their end of life. But yeah, bunch of stuff up there.
