Guy Turk from the USA designed this fly in the early 90's. He designed it for trout but I have used it for LargeMouth Bass and have caught Channel Catfish and Bluegill on it also. Excellent tying job Davie - the way you worked the legs into the Deerhair is a better way than I normally tie it !
Thanks Buddy,
Rick

I love this pattern. And thanks so much for another super-clear demonstration.

Hi Alan,
The rubber legs I used are from Veniards and I bought them from the Glasgow Angling Centre, you could use whatever you like it's up to yourself...

Hi Nice Fly,
I have a question though. What kind of fish would you ketch with this?
anosn122 1 year ago
Hi anosn122,
There's a few fish that you could catch using this fly, for me it would be brown trout and rainbows.

Hi TheProvobaby,
It's normally the first Sunday of each month but I'm not sure if I will be along as most tyers are fishing rather than tying now until the winter.. Glad you liked the fly...
