I like it! The Death In June version is a kind of twisted cover/re-interpretation as well.
"He's Disabled", "The Mourner's Bench", "Because of Him", and "Little Black Angel" are covers/re-interpretations of songs from Jim Jones' People's Temple Choir 1973 gospel album He's Able. The original songs were "He's Able", "Something's Got a Hold of Me", "Because of Him", and "Black Baby", respectively"

Death in June appropriated Jim Jones' hymn and changed the lyrics so that "Black Baby" (the original name of the song) then became "Little Black Angel".
Anyone singing "Little Black Angel" is very much indeed covering Death in June's version.

I dont know, but there are two new songs on the internet from the album "gravity the seducer" (i guess they include them on that album), you can find those tracks at the ladytron unofficial forum.
