  • This works, but typically, you want only the first name in the greeting of a personalized email. Sometimes you may even want to use a nickname, too.

    For example, if I sent an email to a group of friends, I would never say "Dear Robert Smith," but "Dear Bob."

    Is there a way to change the script to merge the Nickname or a Custom Field instead?

  • i am wondering why do not you add the script of the mail merge to the script gallery , it is really a great script and the mail merge existing script in the gallery now is not working
