Furthermore, Dawkins has no strong opinions on cosmological matters since he humbly knows that is not his field. He only mentions some contemporary theories with reference to acclaimed scientists. Read the book and see for yourself. Dr. Craig however, who is not a scientist at all, thinks he can juggle around with abstract physical theories he does not understand. Now who is the charlatan here?

Looking at the methods of Mr. Craig, one can clearly see what is his goal: preach the mos convincingly as possible to people tha may be in doubt, to sound "scientific" (wich he is not) and sell his beliefs. He doesn't care about the opponents questions, he just throw his stuff as absolute truth. Also, he knows that he will not convince people with some scientific training.

Richard Dawkins is evolutionary biologist. Not a cosmologist, he doesn't study the singularity or the big bang. If you want info on the universe go ask Dr. Kaku or Dr Tyson.

It would behoove Dawkins - or any serious atheist, for that matter, to familiarize himself with the most cogent arguments against atheism. At present, most physicists seem to agree that, perhaps, the most profound challenge to the atheist, does come from the field of cosmology. Dawkins' ignorance is quite telling - good evolutionary biologist though he is!

I can also perfectly understand that Dawkins does not want to debate every loud mouthed Christian apologist whose sole goal is to blast him away with rhetorical debating trickery without adressing the important issues. That is precisely Dr. Craig's method and apart from the abstract Kalam Cosmology based arguments (that are easily refuted) this guy has not mutch to say.
