Uneducated people might say "Kid U need more practice, that was a bad shot." But even pro basketball stars miss slam dunks, quarterbacks overthrow recievers(right Tom Brady?). Human error will always be a factor, these things happen even to "seasoned" hunters.U showed greater maturity than alot of grown men in that situation.Taking kids hunting and teaching them right, is what will keep hunting alive for the future. Great job kid! Keep listening to dad and soon U will be teaching him new tricks!

The hell with the nay sayers. That little fella made a great shot on that deer. He would've died eventually. Way to go dad for getting him to dispatch the deer using only his bow and not allowing the deer to suffer for an extended period of time. I always look at it like this, a lion don't give a shit whether he gets his prey by the ass or the neck as long as he gets to eat it. As long as you make an effort to make a humane shot, you did just fine

we always go for the vitals... we never take poor choice shots... buck fever, sapling deflection and human error put it in the neck unfortunately.... check out will's other video... 7 yr old will bow kill..... he makes a heart shot with 2 blade rage..

@VIPvideoMike ha, In hindsight i should have.. It was a pretty intense situation with the last shot being point blank...hopefully my video skills will improve with time... thanks for the comment
