Dumbledore's Army and the Year of Darkness: This is War

This video is an extensive trailer depicting many of the events within the Harry Potter FanFiction: "Dumbledore's Army and the Year of Darkness" by Thanfiction.

I highly recommend reading this fiction. It completely summarizes what must have gone on for the people left behind while Harry was off hunting Horcruxes in "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows." The story features Neville Longbottom, now the leader of the D.A. (Dumbledore's Army). It is a beautifully written work of art, and there are some very real, very horiffic scenes that tell what battle must really be like. I picked the song "This is War" by 30 seconds to mars because of many of the things that it says within the lyrics.

SPOILERS AHEAD!
The Soldier: Ernie Macmillan, who fought until his last breath to keep his family safe, even at great personal loss.

The Civilian: Luna Lovegood, who symbolizes everything it means to stand out,and all of the innocence of the every day people affected by Voldemort.

The Martyr: Parvati, who was so willing to be the first one to discover what punnishment by the Carrows meant, so that her friends could be safe.

The Victim: Lavender, who suffered all alone until her friends could stand up for her.

The Prophet: Also Parvati, who put store in Divination that no one else would.

The Liar: Dennis, who spent so much time hiding his pain that he wouldn't even speak about it.

The Honest: Colin, who was selected to be the Secret Keeper for his own virtues.

The Leader: Neville Longbottom, who led the entire army.

The Pariah: Renny Runcorn, who went against his own family honor just to make the world a safe place for his own beliefs- whatever those may be.

The Victim: Seamus Finnigan, who didn't show how affected he was by the war until he had been changed so drastically.

The Mesiah: Also Seamus Finnigan, who goes on in Sluagh to do great things.

@TeabagsTonks Good, I'm glad to hear from another fan! I'm generally happy with it. I hate the scene with Fred, but I was trying to exemplify the words "It's a brave new world" by saying that even though people died, they could all face it with strength. But oh well.
