is the japanese tradition supose to like that and i was shock after she ate the mochi there i feel sorry the girl next to her....wat if a boy was in there it will be different

@TurquoiseGeisha what was the message i dont get it / is it greed . or is it a way to show that no matter how refined the japanese culture may be, underneath all the fancy etiquette they are just as selfish as anyone else, that's defenitely what i have experienced in japan for the ways too many years i lived there / it once was a beautiful culture but what remains today is as cheap and vulgar as these girl's yukata and make up.

Yes you're right, they are mochi, Okashi just means 'Japanese confectionery for the tea ceremony.' I think Wagashi is also a term used for it ^u^
