I think you've mis-understood the intent of the series. It's ment for amateurs to have fun in their modified road cars. I don't think any of them would profess to being the next Damon Hill or Lewis Hamilton.

Sprints are a low cost form of competition, skill has nothing to do with it, just the fact an MSA "A" licence is not required to compete & hence more people can enter.

TSS seems based on small narrow tracks or bumpy air fields great for learners boring as hell compared to real racing around a race track with other drivers.
My Driving instructor told me sprints are ideal learning ground mostly used by the young or inexperienced, certainly after watching these video's there is little talent on offer. a few guys can drive the rest are clueless.

Barkston Heath is the most narrow of all the tracks we visit. Presents a unique challenge though, as smaller cars have a bit of an advantage.
