This is a little something I wrote about being forced into bankruptcy in order to get help from social assistance after a lifetime of spinal surgeries, arthritis, and osteoporosis finally caught up with a successful Engineering career in my mid-thirties. To all those out there with Harrington rod implants and bone fusions; do your stretches while you can.
I've had the rods in my back for 25 years now. That's been 25 years of waking up everyday with pain, but life is normal with the exception of bending. Good luck with yours
