By the way how many of you recall being taught as a child in school the following: Pledge of Allegiance Star Spangled Banner America The Beautiful My Country 'Tis Of Thee God Bless America Battle Hymn of The Republic Of course there were some who learned Dixie and the military service branch hymns. Do a keyword search for the War Prayer by that great American, Mark Twain. There are several of them on youtube. Enjoy!

Do you know that many people admire Hitler because of his skill in turning people's minds in the direction that gave him power? When I was in university, I heard many people say that they admired Hitler for his ability to lead so many people.

Yes. This was mentioned on several of the blogs. A woman wrote, that when she was a child in Cuba, the teachers used to have the children close their eyes and pray to God for ice cream. When they opened their eyes nothing was there. Then they were told to pray to Castro, and when they opened their eyes, they all had a dish of ice cream before them.
