  • This is my car. To put the speculation to rest;

    Its a Australian AE86 Sprinter converted to Trueno.

    It has a 4AGE 20v Blacktop engine, which is mostly stock apart from higher compression, a BuddyClub exhaust and Adaptronic engine management.

    It is a genuine AE86 digital cluster which was factory option in Japan.

    Yes it does rev over 9000, at a ear busting 120db. Yes it does sound like a Honda in this video, but that's just cos the camera microphone can't pick it up correctly.

  • Haha. The comments on this video make me laugh.

    The tacho actually goes to 8000rpm, however the rev limit in the ECU has been set to 9500rpm so even though you can't "see" it, you can clearly hear it bouncing off the limiter.

    And the engine was at operating temp, you can see the gauge on the right is at half way.

    The body kit is made by CBY (Crystal Body Yokohama) in Japan and as for the rims, they are 14x9 -19 Watanabe R-Type with 205/55r14 Toyo tyres.

  • Beautiful car man. You have done the model proud :)

  • just once i wanna be the first ITS OVER 9000!!!! comment

  • I CAME

  • @jdmemf93 They're just Australian made superlites. 15x8 -4 Slightly better view here NChYQjKfZyg

  • I must have wheel specs on the Levin in the back...

  • that smile says it all. he loves that thing so do i

  • @Salibs It's all about throttle response and light weight. On a small twisty mountain road, 600 hp isn't going to do you any good. But 230+ usable responsive horsepower and gear flexibility with high rpm is farrrr more useful

  • @StainAE86 IT REVS OVER 9000!!!!

  • @swampgarage maybe i will one day. but explain it to me for the time being

  • @Salibs I think you need to take one for a drive. Then maybe you'll understand.
