I don't mean to encourage you and your comments with this reply, but I hope you realize that this event was a tribute to Kilmer. He is an alum of our school and we respect him in that an event of poetry readings has his name in the title. Also, it is important to note that Kilmer himself never garnered respect in the world of poetry. His verse was often criticized for being simplistic and obvious.
