  • I hope we get David Johnson to replace McNabb. 6-3 220 great arm nice touch on all his passes a great release and a good fit in out offense. His accuracy is very underrated.

He is the next Jay Cutler minus the bitchness. Which means a franchise QB for 12+ years.

  • His accuracy is certainly formidable. One thing people tend to not emphasize is his humble nature and willingness to see the team succeed.

  • 77 points, that's impressive.

  • While this game clearly exhibits Tulsa's potent offense the game was early in the season before another textbook mid-late season Tulsa breakdown with Tulsa dropping games at Arkansas, at Houston and against ECU at home.

But at least Tulsa came back big in their second straight GMAC Bowl victory. Keep your eye on the Hurricane. Coach Graham just completed Tulsa's most succesful recruiting season ever (lookup Shavodrick Beaver) and obviously has a lot of returning talent.

  • me being a Hog fan I was glad the Hogs won, but I do root for Tulsa anytime they aren't play the Razorbacks or Arkansas State.

and I think that Tulsa will be a factor in C-USA for years to come, so I will have my eye on them.

  • I was clearly disappointed with the results of that game. I think Graham/Malzahn felt they had something to prove and as a result were far more reckless with their play calling. You can't run a wide receiver handoff in the wildcat formation twice in a row on the 4-yard line and expect a TD.

Add to that the signature Tulsa high snaps, poor special teams and playing in a large stadium and you get the result.

  • @phillyeagles217 deff not cutler hes got a way to go but good try!

  • correction 75 and 80. but still ridiculous

  • but no doubt his arm strength is his greatest asset. that first pass was about 85 yard and if it hit the ground it would have been close to 90. this kid is sick

  • thats a lot of points for just one half. by both teams

  • I havent missed a game years. Last season I was even fortunate enough to make @UAB, @North Texas, @SMU, and @ Arkansas.
