Subway Short Change Scam Artist Foiled

Female short change scammer caught on security video surveillance.

A female goes into a Subway store and orders 3 Subway Cookies for $2.20. She hands over $50 and the Subway Sandwich Artist gives her $47.80 in change. The change is made up of 2x $20 notes, 1x $5 note and the rest in coins.

As she is handed the change, she slips one of the $20 notes into her pocket while she distracts the Subway staff member with conversation. She then looks at the change remaining in her hand and tells the staff member that she has been short changed by $20.

The end result is that she did not succeed in scamming the store because the staff member checked the register balance and security footage to reveal her deception.
