In Samurai Sentai Shinkenger, in which this is based off of Kotoha (Emily's counterpart) realizes that her relations with Takeru (Jayden's counterpart) are no longer platonic but romantic feelings. Takeru may like her as well hinting in several episodes. Chiaki(Mike's counterpart) and Kotoha have a brother-sister relationship which people mistaken as them liking each other. That's how I see Mike and Emily. Though things can change in this adaptation. I hope its Jayden and Emily.

@SashGirl34 i think alot of us wanna see emily and jayden together they're 1 of my fave couples of all time from power rangers i especialy love my wifey brittany pirtle :) who plays emily she's like the girl of my dreams and i know beckah likes alex who plays jayden as do i in fact he's 1 of my fave red rangers

@sailormoon159159 Ryunosuke(Kevin's counterpart) and Mako(Mia's counterpart) have a sibling type of relationship. They argue but they talk to each other about their problems even giving each other support. I found it hilarious though when they first meet they mistaken each other for the lord (Takeru). Making each other believe the lords a woman since Mako is one. The best part is Ryunosuke was in his Kabuki getup so he can be mistaken for a woman. It's absoutely HILARIOUS.
