Hello there.

This video was made for the "Secret Santa" gift exchange on the DAYDverse comm at facebook. If you don't already know about any of this, please feel free to ask. I'm always open to any 'verse questions by inquisitive minds- although if it's a particular question, do ask the author, Thanfiction. But I'd be happy to explain what the DAYDverse and gift exchange is if you don't already know.

As usual, all artwork (except for the rising sun background) and story lines belong to Thanfiction and the movie/song clips to their respectful owners, Warner Bros. etc.

I apologize in advance if the song is completely annoying at this time of year, as it isn't very Christmassy. But, I hope the fun intro makes up for it. This came about because I needed to make a Colin video for our Secret Santa exchange and I had to spend a long time thinking over Colin and his character. I battled with making a video about a hero, an under-dog of sorts, and will most likely make one of those in the future. However, the thought that struck me oddly while I was contemplating the life of Colin Creevey, (Granted, this was before the "Miri Factor" ficlett came out by Thanfiction, giving even more light into his head) was how hard it must be after everything is said and done and loved and lost to be forced into living forever as a ghost. And watching all of the rest of the people slowly die- especially the closest of loved ones.

Granted, Colin does tend to look more on the bright side. He gets to see all of their children grow up too. But, it still seemed a bit sad to me, and so this came about.

Anyways, one extra for this clip is that I wound up using Sterling Knight in some of the scenes to represent Colin. I would have used the actual clips from the first few HP movies, but those don't really represent who he is now. That is why the change.

Please enjoy.

Oh, also, the song is lowered in pitch as I always feel a bit jolted when a song in the point of view of a male character is sung by a female, and vice versa. It makes it seem out-of-voice. If you are the recipient of this video and you feel at all agitated by it, do let me know and I'd be happy to change it to your preference.
