  • is it normal for one seed to be growing 3 plants cuz i think thats what one of my seeds is doing.......?

  • @jcpn222 That's awesome! Although it's not common, it's also not rare for it to happen. It happened to a few of my mangoes where a couple of trunks are growing from one seed. It will make your plant look much thicker, too.

  • Quick question should I let the seed dry or use fresh ones ........ I just planted one from a seed it had roots on the seed when I pulled it out of the shell ......this morning the neighbor squirrel ate it

  • @dookindasie1 Oh my, that's unfortunate that it got eaten!

It's easier to remove the actual seed from the husk/shell when it's dry, but it can still be done even when it's fresh. Do not let the actual seed (the one inside the shell) to dry out once you started to grow it..

  • Do you think this would work with a plum?

  • @The5KidRock I tried that method, but so far no luck. I'm still trying to grow plum from seeds and trying different methods. Once I find something that works for me, I'll definitely share it. :)

  • What type of soil do you use? do you buy the soil or use those from your yard? do you use ferterlizer?

  • Hi & thank you for posting these videos. I was wondering do you use a special type of soil or just the kind in your backyard? I live in Fl as well...

  • @jcpn222 I was reading somewhere that the smallest one will be the best producer and the others can be culled...

  • My first attempt with wet paper towels failed so I will try your method. Thanks

  • Good evening,

Thanks a lot for your tutorials.. They are very easy to follow.

Today i ate a mango and wanted to try growing my own mango tree.

The little problem is my seed looks nothing like yours... It is rather a flat one. So I wonder if it's good enough. I covered it with mineral water.. But I am not sure if it should be completly submerged or just half of it.

Thanks in advance for any tips.
