I grew up in portland. There's just this feeling you get when your there. When you smell the rain, and the trees are changing colors, and Pionieer Square is always busy and alive. There's a feeling you get inside, it's the best city in the world. ♥

Okay. I have lived in portland for a year. I lived in L.A before. Portland is such a nice people place when u cume from downtown l.a. I miss L.a so much. i kinda hate portland. But there is still lots of crasy people downtown. One guy said "hey babe u doin anythin tonight" tome and my bff. he was prob like 40 . ya creepy much?

Saying a bicyclist has to sigh is really over-exaggerating! Usually it is the driver sighing because the bicyclist just goes right out there and think they're above any laws!

Obviously, you're rather clueless when it comes to different aspects of our city. You either don't live here, or don't pay attention to what's going on.

Denial?

I wouldn't classify our summers ( in Portland ) as very hot and bothersome. That is just plain whining. Our summers average about 80-85 ( with low humidity too, and not windy ) and cool to the 50's or 60's at night.

Eastern OR is totally different with highs often reaching well over 100 and wildfires are common.

Our "mildew" season as you put it, is about 4 months long--from mid Nov to around late Feb.

This is so beyond comprehension. A lot of people in Portland are in denial. The summers can be beautiful, but oftentimes, it's very hot and bothersome. The other 9 to 10 months is affectionately known to the locals as "Mildew" season.

People in Portland are so retarded that they think they're being kind at an intersection by letting bicyclists go ahead of them, when they get there first. The bicyclist has to "sigh" and get off his peddles. The drivers just need to follow the traffic laws.
