@kaiquecorrea Well I did try playing on friends 2006/2007 pc runs 54 fps maxed out bro ? 8800GTS SLI 4GB DDR2 Core 2 Quad Q6600 and it still has better detail when consoles not to talk about pc getting 64 players and consoles 32, consoles are just pcs in small cases with shitty operating system. @kaiquecorrea Hate to burst your bubble, but there are PC gamers out there still using tech from 2005-2007, and it runs this game just fine. At higher resolutions and framerates, too. BF3 on consoles is actually less than 720p.

When you all gonna stop trying to convince yourselves that consoles are better? There's nothing wrong with consoles, just PC is much better.

i have both a ps3 and gaming pc and play them about the same, some games just feel better with a controller like mw3 or any other cod. But the visuals are definately better on pc.

@candytripn This was one of the biggest displays of ignorance I've seen here in a long time. Not just because you don't have a clue what you're talking about, but also because you try to be condescending despite the fact that you're grotesquely wrong.

The M18x is not a XPS. It has several additional features besides the visual appeal to set it apart, such as the more advanced GPU options, the larger screen and the wireless 3D display connectivity, to name just a few.

@kaiquecorrea Well saying that comparing a current i7 to a old cell is not fair is bullshit This is the advantage of PC you can upgrade to the latest while with the consoles you are stuck with the old hardware that was produced I have to tell you that I had read all of your comments I know that you might be having a mx18 but then you would have not defended the consoles which makes everyone to think that you don't have a mx18. Why do people still go ape shit arguing that PC is better? Of course it is. We all know PC is better by a long shot, and always will be no matter what. PS3 however is not a bad console to have but it may not be the best FPS priority. Xbox is alright but the graphics are beginning to lack, and it doesn't even seem to support 1080p at all anymore. It's just preferences if people want consoles, or if people want PC; Obviously people are different.

And that thing about Cell being faster than a GTX 285 was your apex of ignorance. Even on single-precision, Cell has a theoretical peak performance of 230.4 GFLOPS (179.2 on the PS3, with two SPEs not available), while a GTX 285 GPU peaks at 1062.72 GFLOPS. I don't know where you got that encoder information from, but you can be sure it couldn't be more wrong.

@kaiquecorrea Cell is a $38 PowerPC processor from 2005. Saying that is better tha a Core i7 processor is beyond ridiculous.

Cell has a theoretical peak performance of just 20.8 GFLOPS in double precision, which means it achieves a varying percentage of that value depending on how well the software is optimized. A Bloomfield processor achhieves around 50 GFLOPS on generic benchmarks, while a Gulftown one achieves over 100 GFLOPS. Sandy Bridge pushes it even further with the AVX instruction set.
