  • a db tuner?

  • ? If you're asking what was in my rack, there wasn't a rack tuner or anything- it's my Looperlative and a Boss VF-1 below it.

  • i have a boss vf1. great stuff!

i don't suppose you've managed to do a decent imitation of brass on it? i've managed to make a brass tone using some sawsynth effects i modified but it tracks horribly and sounds cheap. i heard michael manring did a great sax solo using it once and wondered if you'd managed to find it!

  • Haven't gotten a good brass sound out of it myself. When I saw Manring play live in Cleveland, I swear he got the most convincing sax sound out of it, but I can't cop it myself. When I see him again in June, maybe I'll ask to copy his settings if he has his VF-1 with him :D

  • hijodeputa q tales bajasos y tocas hasta las huevas

  • I have no idea what that translates to :D

  • I was curious, how do you write these? do you sit down and play around with your bass and looper and come up with them, or do you write them out as a composer?

  • great idea! i'll have to check back and ask again then :p
