That's the same limited edition I have. It's about 12 years old now and faceplate illumination no longer works. Can it be replaced?

@honsville try turning the squelch all the way down and the rf gain all the way up. make sure u have the mic and antenna hooked up. let me know if i helped ya out

why is there no volume comming out of the cb? i just bought one and hooked it up and couldn't hear anything either.
