Nah when a deaf looks at that hot babe he likes it. Only a hater does that.

What song is on the B side ?

It is a very good version of the song,. but I miss the ending from the album version...it was dramatic and iconic, it is on her first record and to me stands as the standard for which all versions are to be compared...

Thanks for this. I had never heard it before and I'm so glad that I have now. This is probably the best version of the song I think she ever did, and that's saying a lot. What a voice.

Obviously the 1 person who disliked this is deaf!

Cleveland Ohio 1962..Barabra was singing at a supper club The Chateau. She sang two shows a night and three shows on the weekend.. What a treat to hear her sing for an hour at a time for a week that I will never forget.. There are times being a waitress is a good thing,,,,The best ever..

@rebel4569 Whoever you are, you have unusually good taste, and a lot of nerve to risk the wrath of Streisand's rabid sycophants. Both sides of this 45 RPM are more exciting than anything she did since going Hollywood.

@colormemichael I have the 45 reissue too but no longer have a turntable to play it
:( My goal is to find all my old vinyl on CD. I recall My Coloring Book is the B Side, also preferable to the album version.

THIS is the superior version of the song compared to her first album. It may not be a Peter Matz arrangment but its better suited to the song. For now this is only found on 45 if you can find it. Hopefully will turn up someday on a CD collection of unreleased Streisand

She never did this song better than on this single, ever, ever, ever. The final few bars are more beautiful and sad than any of her later, more "perfect" singing. Does this version exist on any of her CD's?

@unclealand nope it was only released on a 45 rpm record single in 1962 and then re released as a columbia hall of fame issue in 1965 i believe
