The solution to plug the pipe simple go low and crimp the pipe, just squeeze it tight then go above that make a clean cut and put that stupid cap on it. @nfgpunk888 B/c B.P. rushed plugging its pipe, despite the Cpt. & crew's protests, by using piled (d'oh) mud instead of a 3rd plug, acting on the assurances of a botched (oops) pressure test 1stly ; 2ndly, I do not know, good point, good, very, hm.

My question is why did the rig blow up in the first place and then why do we have a camera sophisticated enough to be under there watching the pipe but yet we have no technology on the planet to plug the pipe? hmm?
