太平洋戦争開戦となった真珠湾攻撃の暗号打電も長門から
終戦時唯一航行可能だった戦艦も長門
日本を降伏させた原爆の実験台になったのも長門
長門で始まり長門で終わる．．運命のようなものですね

If I remember correctly, she was the first 16" gun battleship built, interstingly she lies at peace with her American contempraries, rather than being cut up for scrap like so many others. She can still be seen at rest and touched.
