This is how you make halušky (Slovak dumplings) the easier way. That is, if you have a "haluškár" - a large pan with holes cut in the bottom. Make sure to periodically soak it in the boiling water to let the halušky come off. Otherwise they'll be too long. Here we are making kidney halusky that go into soup, but potato halusky are made exactly the same way.
