Who gives a shit what coast this is from. My ass is moving, my toes are tapping, and my head is nodding. And I agree, Junior Watson is a person we need more of, not less. Not that there is anything wrong with SRV or the like -- if that is your cup of tea, but I prefer a different style. Harman, Fats, T-Bone, to a name a few. By they way, some guy mentioned Knockout Greg. Just checked him out. Nice. Peace from the Middle East.

Other than the model guitar that he is closely associated with, I don't know what Watson has to do with this tune. He's certainly a big influence on our guitar player and the whole band, but I don't hear a lot of Watson in this particular tune. I hear Robert Jr., Eddie Taylor and Johnny Guitar Watson and a whole hell of a lot of Eric Ducoff. I wonder if you would've made the Watson comment if he was playing something else? Or there was no video at all? I doubt it.

well played but utterly soulless. I agree with bluesking1. There is only one Junior . SRV clones are being replaced with Junior clones.Blues becomes pastiche.

We welcome any and all criticism, both positive and negative. I could have erased bluesking1's comments but chose to keep them as I will keep yours.
The world would only be so lucky to have all the SRV clones replaced by Watson clones.
If you've got an example of you playing with soul I'd love to hear so I know what I'm missing.
