hmm, I dont believe that the m3 has to be heavily modded to have that kind of performance against the slk55. Afterall, the contender to the slk55 is the z4 M which shares the same 333 hp engine as the previous e46 m3.

Stock SLK runs a 12.7 1/4 mile. Stock M3 is in mid 13s. That M3 is highly modded, and not just a K&N filter. Have a closer look at the exhaust when its passing the SLK. I have not lost to a M3 or an STI to this date and Im completely stock.

MB does not "need" a v8 they can use w/e they want to compete with the m3.having said that,i believe a slightly tuned slk350 would beat the e46 m3 becuz its 250 lbs lighter and with a ecu tune and some intakes u can get wellover 300 hp and 7 speed gearbox.the slk55 is faster if both were driven to there best potential,dont try to argue with me on this this video doesnt justify that at all bcuz of children or drugg addicts who post vid's inccorectly to pass as truth

u guys are idiots with your ollldddd asss arguements.m's are tracks cars amg's arent.WTF. go drive an AMG u cocksuckers if u can afford it.then youll see all the hype about em.they are just as good on a track as a bmw its just harder to drive,but has the same abilities as any bmw. i raced this faggot down my back mountain side i had my friend with me,we raced a m coupe,he was by himself it was rather brand new but he pushed it to about 90 - 100 mph on sharp turns,guess who was tail gating him??

both naturally aspirated but m3 has 4valves per cylinder and cylinders are bigger, and slk55 has smaller cylinders and only 3 valves per cylinder. there is no serious justifications. m3 has natural mods MB always
