@DeciiDee Yes, the flux is normal. But it's meant for PvP matches, not towns. Someone died in a town by getting banned, and it triggered the PvP flux. The bug was soon patched by ArenaNet, as it was not intended.

@TidusGW360 none, if you die in an outpost it doesn't count against your survivor title, and chances are if you're pvping you either A) aren't trying to get the title, or B) already have it lol

@pootubeftw I have been on this game for nearly 5 years, I wouldn't need to be on it from the very start to know. However I stand by my point that all games have such problems. And you will do well to understand it's due to the company's philosophy of buy to play that it still has many bugs. They manage to put in plenty of content over time, but they don't get paid well enough to deal with every little problem.

So this time I say: Try getting into their shoes to understand what's wrong.

obviously you havent been around since the start...is all i need to counter with. if you had, you wouldnt have commented since you would have known just how broken the source code is in this game. new updates fix some bugs, introduces just as many new. lack of options, lack of correcting allready KNOWN bugs. there are bugs in this game thats as old as the game itself that anet havent even bothered trying to fix. lets just hope for the SAKE OF GOD that it doesnt move over to gw2.

@pootubeftw Why don't you get into programming then if ArenaNet is so incompetent for you? No game is perfect and always has unforeseen anomalies once in awhile so you can't expect them to fix everything before release of updates. That's the whole reason online games have specific people dealing with complaints from users. They can't possibly get everything right the first time.

I know someone who was very close to finishing Survivor title but died during a Cut scene because the other player didnt skip. So dying in the cut scene counted. Its in the wiki.

@AnalogX64 deaths in outposts don't halt Survivor, although being in a PvP arena is counter-intuitive to Survivor anyway.
