An acute shortage of cooking gas, has hit several parts of the country, with several filling stations, reporting stock outs of the commodity. Oil marketing companies, have not received fresh supplies of the commodity, for the last two weeks, with prices having shot up by almost 100%, over the last one year alone. Dennis Otieno reports, on a situation that is likely to complicate, the lives of citizens, already overburdened by last week's hike, in fuel prices.
TYPICAL KENYA: Powerful people create artificial shortages so that they can raise prices. KACC should investigate this stuff. Making people suffer for a quick shilling.
And If it isnt corruption, it's ineptitude: someone didn't plan far enough to ensure gas supply.
Either way, someone should lose their job for causing wanainchi to suffer.
