I met Brenda Jackson at an Atlanta book signing; She was so nice and warm. She had a great turnout and when she started talking about the characters it was as if she were talking about people's family members everyone knew so much about the characters, I was thinking I have so much reading to do.

@Dria00509 That's a wonderful endeavor. What are you writing about? Over the past week or two I read Midnight by Beverly Jenkins and Once Upon a Holiday by Bev Jenkins, Adrianne Byrd and Kimberly Kaye Terry. Right now, I'm reading--off and on--The Sorceress by Allison Hobbs. Best of luck to you on your book!

I have a lot of books on this author. I haven't read any of them yet. I like this vid. What are u reading now.
I have been reading BJ's books for well over 5 years now. She has recently re-released nearly all of the Madaris Family and Friends books by popular demand. I absolutely love, love her writing style and patiently wait for the next new release. What are you reading now and what other authors do you read? Also, I agree with your statement about Borders have a better selection of our books than Barnes and Nobles.

@MrsShancha I'm so sorry for the delay in responding. I've been working deligently on finishing my first novel so I haven't had much time to read anything new. I'm at about 68,000 words now. Have you read anything good lately?
