@Stillwater900 -- It was most likely either an accident when a navy missile test-firing was inexplicably diverted, or a 'terrorism' event by some kind of missile launcher OR perhaps this was an intentional shootdown by US military assets as part of a US govt-brokered quid-pro-quo payoff 'deal' with Iran to atone for Navy's grossly-negligent missile shootdown of an Iranian airliner If so, this might have been the 'price' demanded or proferred to avert threat of more serious reprisals.
