And I'm just saying, I live in Australia and we dont really have easy access to guns and there are still shootings.

But on the other side of things, there arent really shootings in large public areas, ie schools.

I think its as simple as this this...

I think that if we got rid of guns, it wouldn't SOLVE things like public murders and such, they'd happen with swords instead. At least you can spot someone with a sword easier than if they had a gun, unless it's a short blade like a dagger or stiletto that could be hidden while still easily accessible.

Most countries don't even have cops in the schools. You shouldn't fix the problem when it's in the school, you should fix it before it even gets to that point. I don't know why but the US seems to have alot of problems with psycopaths getting hold of guns. Hard to say if you should blame the country, the lack of gun control, the psycopaths, the media or w/e.
