Sonny and Sandy are available for adoption (they must stay together!!) in the Charleston, SC area. They are an adorable bonded pair, and are available through the Lowcountry House Rabbit Society (for more info please see www.lowcountrybunny.com).
Bonded rabbits are usually easier to care for than single rabbits, because when you cannot be with them, they keep each other company and play together. They share their litterboxes, and eat from the same box and bowl.
Sonny is the white and black boy, and Sandy is the, well, sandy colored girl. They were found at the bottom of a quarry in Ridgeville, SC. Just days after they were found, Sandy gave birth! We still have two of their babies, Magick and Truffles, in our care.
Sonny and Sandy were young parents. We believe that they are still a bit under one year old as of today, May 20, 2008. They are both spayed and neutered, and have clean bills of health from a rabbit specialist vet.
What a cute pair of rabbits...
