In memory of Gene Kelly (August 23, 1912-February 2, 1996), this is dances and romantic scenes of the great Gene Kelly with leading ladies. It is said that Gene Kelly sang the beautiful song "I Didn't Know What Time It Was" in Pal Joey's audition.
At midnight, on my second glass of Merlot, this is a revelation...
I love Kelly, along with Astaire (and possibly Jackson), the greatest dancer that the film/video industry has ever produced, but that's not why I came here...
I came here for Ella's version of this Rodgers & Hart tune, the definitive version, IMO...
The tune by Sting, whose protean musical genius continues to astound me, going on 30 years, I had never heard before, and was a BIG bonus.
wonderful ... I love Gene Kelly... and I adore Gene Kelly and Judy Garland! great couple!

Both work with the visuals sublimely.

Wonderful tribute but a tad odd that you included not a single song song by Gene Kelly himself.
