    At the end they said the camera excels at high speed and special effects. If you were shooting slomo, that's when you'd want something like 150fps.

    Perhaps they should have said the camera is capable of running at 150fps

  • 150fps!! what the hell kind of movie are they making? 24fps FTW.

  • @MuzikJunkyAES Same reason race cars cost so much. Higher performance requires higher precision - that and economies of scale work against you since so few are manufactured.

  • Manufacturers will stop producing 35mm motion picture cameras this year, of those who haven't done so already. Arri is already ahead of the game with their Alexa. I imagine the use of film for major motion pictures has ten more years left at best. Technology is moving so rapidly.

  • As much as film is beautiful and digital is horrible, why do they have to charge US$250,000 for a single camera? Peace.
