  • Your block leg must be straighter than this Practice 100-200 left leg block (1-step into it) without the javelin each day. Attach a bungee cord in the wall at home and learn how to be more patient with your throwing arm (while keeping a straight block leg + correct left "blocking" arm motion). Let the throwing arm hang like a piece of snot but in the cocked position. Let the chest and the lower body do most of the work before you purposefully move your throwing arm.
