Rest in Peace (and rise in glory)

This piece will appear on the Libera CD "New Dawn", due for release March 2008. It was originally recorded by the composer, Peter Skellern, on BBC "Songs of Praise" in 2004 on which he was accompanied by some of the boys from Libera. This recording can be found at

Hi Noel, Many thanks for your lovely comment. I began to wonder if anyone would ever find this piece interesting enought to comment on. It's been here over a year now.

I love the piece because it combines the talents of two of my favourites - Libera and Peter Skellern. It's in Bb here as on the CD but when I saw Libera doing it live, it was in B natural. I asked Robert Prizeman why and he intimated it suited the boys' voices better.

Hi Paul , I love your music and the instrument you play on . I have a Technics PR 902 digital ensemble . What a shame Technics no longer produce these fine machines . I listen to you often on you tube and particularly love "Forgotten Dreams" I like the sensitive way you play . I play similar songs . Also many 30s and 40s ballads . Keep up the good work .
