A teardown of this 3hp Briggs. You get a good look at just about every part of the engine in this series. Including the solution to all sorts of problems. I may not fix everything first time but the video will always have a solution to the problem!
I'm going to build a mini dirt bike to hoon around on private roads at my work. I work as a greenkeeper and making the dirt bike out of a lawnmower engine is a bit ironic I think! The engine was only £8.25 off eBay so it was definitely a bargain. This video is Part 1 of ??? Parts hopefully finishing with a functional (+Fast?) engine to power my mini dirt bike. Of course I will be uploading videos of the mini bike build too.

Enjoy, and leave a comment on the engine or what I can do to fix it etc. etc.

And if you want to learn about lawnmower engines then 'davidsfarm' has lots of great videos too.
