We moved from there 14 years ago, and while I miss it, I am never sorry for moving and putting my kids in a "small town" school. They had so many opportunities here, that if they lived thru school there, they wouldn't have had. It's getting harder all the time. So far our little piece of heaven, is still undaunted. We'll see how long it lasts. Have a great holiday weekend,friend.

The gang filth seems to be speading to all 'hoods these days. And no help from the TV and music industry that promotes their "prison culture". Some day there will be nowhere else to move for decent folks of all races if this keeps up. Have a good one yerself and Happy Gardening!

really Dan ? irish hurling , is that in comparrison to some other type of hurling , dont mind me im just being a prick with dub humor , if we were in a boozer yid laugh aswell lad , but the auld hurling is the fastest game on dry land , only passed by ice hockey which is not really dry ? or is it , i dont bleedin know , i just killed a blue nun , haha catch ya later Dan.

How'd you guess? lol That's where I should have sent my kids! Loved it, but in 95-96, they started infiltrating the schools in St. Charles with the gangs. We headed toward the country and I'll never leave.
Got my own piece of heaven, but do miss it every once and a while. I'm out to garden in Heaven, lol Have a good one!

LOL I was born in Springfield Illinois and for 5 years lived 40 miles west of Chicago in St. Charles. Nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there.....again. Ugh! Don't tell.....but I do miss it at times, lol.
