Measure 37 Hearing - SB505 - Measur 49 - Land Use Fairness

Measure 49. This is public testimony to the Oregon Legislature by citizens frustrated by Measure 37 and the impacts the measure is causing. Before Measure 49 was put on the Oregon ballot, a hearing was held by the ORegon legislatures for citizens to voice concerns on the unintended consequences of Measure 37. These consequences were not evident to voters in the 2004 when the measure was passed. Measure 49 will help resolve issues with Measure 37. Measure 49 is Oregon's best hope to protect Oregon's landscape, stop urban sprawl, protect parks, natural scenic destinations, and protect fram and forest lands.
