Heavy arms is truely the ultimate artilery gundam noone can destroy as many masses as he can. Maybe he isn't the best one on one but he sure is the most destructive by far.

@MrBiggieJay Technically, while Heavyarms wasnt designed to fight CQC, Trowa is actually a skilled fencer. He managed to carve up alot of mechs with just that dinky little knife on his arm. He sure showed them what he could do when he pulled out a beam saber! :D

All in all Trowa/Heavyarms is pure badass, military, asskickery!

Great AMV! :) A bit repetitive at parts and I would have used more footage of Ultimate Heavyarms(Quad Chainguns) but very nice over all.

Trowa/Heavyarms was always my favorite. Not only is Trowa extremely agile and athletic but he's also a veritable military genius with hordes of knowledge about military tactics, strategy, and history. My hero :) Both versions of Heavy arms where awesome but Ultimate was just God-like in power.

@grozejeremy Ah a Kindred Spirit! Its a shame these days I mention Wing or G Gundam to some anime people and they look at me funny. Like theres something wrong with me for liking two of the most badass Gundam series!

@MaxxCoyote I think that the writers believed that heavyarms had the potential of appearing over-powered. I mean, it's a walking army with enough ammo to level military installments! Then again, the others could do the same...they could have been nerfed in other ways (not half-assed like wing zero custom).

@SageofTalos Well I have no idea how large an ammo pack for his gun would be. To me it just didn't seem to fight Trowa's character to have such a glaring weakness. Plus as I've stated it made heavyarms look poorly in comparison to the other gundams.

As mentioned before the one thing I thing that really sticks out in my mind about heavyarms was that he was always out of ammo and needed to retreat. Deathscythe was my favorite but I always wanted to like Heavyarms

@MaxxCoyote, extra ammo? Wherer would he put it? it's so chalk full of functioning weapons it can't fit anymore! Besides, I seriously wish Heero and Duo's Gundam's ( Hell even quatre's) to have their limitations shown-definitely would've made the fight's mroe interesting. Except whenever Heavy arms pulls out a knife he practically becomes a ninja.

@SageofTalos I wouldn't call it spray-n-pray. I don't recall Trowa missing all that much. He pretty much hit whatever he wanted to.

I think Heavyarms comes across as the weaker brother only because they never really showed the other gundams running low on anything. Its not like Heero or Duo's energy weapons ran out of juice.

I also found it silly that Heavyarms didn't carry any extra ammo or anything.

@MaxxCoyote yeah, running out of ammo is pretty much one of the sure things that happened to the heavy-arms. It's best attack was spray-n-pray all the while blasting massive MS forces into peices.

Am I the only one who is amused that the biggest fight Heavy arms was ever in, and what a good chunk of this footage is from, all occurred with Heero in the pilot chair?
