@Weasler455 a few years ago I heard Crosby and Nash on Al Franken's radio show (they're all friends); they mentioned that the iconic pedal steel part was improvised by Garcia, on the spot, and the track you hear was his first take - while he was warming up and figuring out what to play (he may have recorded a second "real" take, but they used that first one). I'm not a big Jerry fan... but that's bloody amazing.
