this is the same concept they teach at my sheriff's department. you keep the weapon as close to your body as possible when you're moving through a doorway or around a corner.

I like this technique for entry, the way I learned was different, but like you said if you don't practice you could hurt yourself. This is safe and simple, something I can teach my wife and be confident that she will execute it successfully. Great training tip! Thanks.

With all the negative comments about other ways to enter, maybe you should rename it "Pistol retention while entering door- ways/chock points." I know what your saying, but some people just don't understand. Good video again BTW.

@WeTheLibertyLovers Yes the video is about entering the doorway not clearing the room. Some nights it a rough crowd atleast they dont throw eggs.

@uncleben03 slicing the pie is another way but it takes times to do it. IF you have to hurry or get your wife or children because their is a threat in the house, speed is what you would be going for. Slicing the pie will be a future video very soon.
