Shhh, be very quiet or you'll scare the diamonds away. How many times can you listen to that before you punch them in the mouth? Looking for diamonds ,kills your back, kills your knees,it's hot,and you have to be seriously wanting to do this.Why would anyone be bored in town,you are there to find diamonds.Idiot.

My daughter's cat likes to chase after a laser beam. When the beam hits certain household objects like a doorknob or plastic soda bottle, it flares up and/or scatters. Might that also be a useful tool in daylight for spotting crystals in the dirt?

What if you surface-hunted at night with a flashlight? Would that be possible?

@dixired1950 I met a guy there that rents out space and makes his living by small scale diamond mining there. Not to say the place wasn't kind of a let down but there are definitely still diamonds there.
