So where Dave already should sing "It's just time to pay the price" he was still singing "..with what you've being put through", and after that he decided to stop it.
From this video it is not so clear, you have to listen to the audio recording from Malmo to get the picture.
There was a couple of mistakes in POT.
Dave started to sing correctly, but Christian made a late drum break after Dave's "You have something to hide" verse. This break had to come 4 beats sooner, just before Dave started to sing.
This wouldn't be much noticeable if Dave wouldn't react with shifting the next verse by 4 beats, because he thought he is one verse too early !
As up front witness & watching this, I lean more & more to the idea that it was intentional. He knows this song backwards in sleep & the beat being this tight and monotone, it's like un-missable. You HAVE to go from the 1st line to the 2nd. And D being this brillant improvisator/actor - it'd be piece of cake to adjust as he has done before. And do I detect a slight comical touch in the whoa whoa - Was it me?
Whooo whoo whoo whoo - was tjhat me? That was the Audience...
Hahahaha - I loved it.... And then we got it one more time - "You had something to hide..."
It was the clue of a somewhat routine kinda gig.... Having stripped the setlist from sotu songs (except a few - thank you very much) and one by one Strangelove, Master and Servant, Waiting for the night and Fly On the Windscreen, we are back to the standard repetoire and God knows why they have added so many new gigs at the sae time.
Haha, that was so funny! Great gig, we blew up some of the balloons. ^^

It's definitely wasn't intentional or for fun :)

I think it's a gimmick - "to have his fun."
Maybe I'm WRONG but I Think I'm RIGHT.
