Opening intro & auto demo. Xexex (released in North America as Orius) was released in year 1991 by Konami near the height of the popularity of horizontal scrolling shooters. It was developed by the same team that was responsible for Gradius II. Xexex was critically acclaimed but unfortunatly quickly dropped from sight as arcade operators chose to stock their cabinets with the latest Capcom and SNK fighters instead, ala Street Fighter 2. Xexex did not see a home port until 2007 when it was included in the compilation Salamander Portable released only in Japan for the Sony PSP.
